Star of Cbeebies comes out to play for Lichfield Panto

Star of BBC children’s TV show Let’s Play and Time For School, Rebecca Keatley, has been confirmed to appear in the 2019 Lichfield Garrick annual pantomime.

Rebecca, adored by pre-schoolers everywher, will be making her return to Lichfield and is incredibly excited to perform as Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre in Staffordshire.

Rebecca commented:

“I’m delighted to be spending the festive season in Lichfield. I’m looking forward to spreading some fairy magic at the Lichfield Garrick and taking part in this spellbinding Christmas pantomime.”

LOCAL BUTTONS

Also making a welcome return to leading line up of  the Lichfield panto is local actor Sam Rabone.   Sam, from Sutton Coldfield, will be joining the cast playing Buttons

The ‘bell boy’ costume will be change up for Sam, who has previusly built up a spakling repuatation as a leading Dame in pantomime’s across the UK.  This time round he will be playing the every popular best friend of Cinders, and he’s thrilled to be coming back to Lichfield.

“I’m over the moon to play Buttons at the Lichfield Garrick! Having travelled the country from Scotland to Somerset, Lichfield is only a stone throw away from my home town of Sutton Coldfield. People of Lichfield be prepared to see a show with more laughter than ever before!”
