The show closes in London’s West End soon and will begin its tour at the end of the 2017.
The production opens at the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham on December 16, before visiting major cities and towns including Stoke-on-Trent at The Regent Theatre from 6 to 17 Feb 2018.
Jersey Boys, based on the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, is written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. The show has won 57 major awards worldwide, including the OLIVIER AWARD for BEST NEW MUSICAL and tells the true life story of four boys from the wrong side of the tracks who wrote their own songs, invented their own unique sound, and sold 100 million records worldwide.
Featuring hit after legendary hit including BEGGIN’, CAN’T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU, OH WHAT A NIGHT, SHERRY, WALK LIKE A MAN, BYE BYE BABY, BIG GIRLS DON’T CRY and many more , JERSEY BOYS is a story full of heart, humour and ‘sheer musical razzmatazz’ (THE SUNDAY EXPRESS) you simply will never forget.
The tour will be directed by Des McAnuff, with choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
