[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Staffordshire site specific theatre company, Greenhouse Theatre Project is using Bethesda Chapel as the setting for Dark Side of the Moon: The Mary Shelley project, a new piece work exploring the destructive world of Frankenstein author Mary Shelley.
1816: the year with no summer. As torrential rain and thunder storms bellow around the mountains of Switzerland, a young and ambitious Mary Shelley is inspired…
This original piece of theatre delves into the destructive world of Mary, her lover Percy, and step-sister Claire, as she wrestles to create her gothic thriller, Frankenstein. Ambition, rebellion and love can only sustain them for so long, will Mary’s creation prove to be her triumph or her downfall?
PAY WHAT YOU DECIDE
This production is supported by Arts Council England and is a PAY WHAT YOU DECIDE performance.
What is Pay What You Decide? This method of experiencing theatre is a superb way to encourage theatregoers to go and see something different, that they otherwise may have not considered, or try something less mainstream.
It also helps to encourage as many people as possible to experience theatre, perhaps even for the first time.
Additionally it helps theatre companies and writers further develop their work, and refine the elements of a theatre production before taking it further.
You can still reserve your tickets in advance (see below). You then watch the show and pay what you decide at the end of the performance. Cash and Card payments will be accepted.
