We are now looking for Staffordshire theatregoers to contribute to our BRAND NEW theatre review section.   We love to hear what people think about Staffordshire Theatre – so why not share your feedback about a recent show that you have seen and help others to decide if they’d like to see it.

We’re looking for people have a keen interest in theatre and want to spread the word about a show that they have seen in Staffordshire.

REQUIREMENTS

You will need to be able to express your thoughts and feelings about a theatre show that you have seen, there is no right or wrong.  You will allow your own voice to develop and need to be honest about what you think, conveying your enthusiasm or explaining why you disliked the production.  All we ask is that you are both honest and fair in your critique.

Don’t worry about going out on a limb; a timid theatre review is often a dull read.

HOW IT WORKS

This is the simplest way to contribute a Staffordshire Theatre review and you can do it straight away.

Basically, if you have seen a show in Staffordshire that you wish to rave or rant about, you can very simply fill in the One Off Staffordshire Theatre Review form below.  We will then get your review published on our website, and promoted across our social media channels.

All we ask is that you have genuinely seen the show that you are reviewing, and that you have no relationship or involvement with the venue, show or cast of the show that you have seen, and that you saw a proper public performance or a scheduled press night.

Apply To Become A Regular Staffordshire Theatre Reviewer

If you are a regular theatregoer in Staffordshire and you’d like to be considered to become a regular contributor, then apply today.

Here at Staffordshire Theatre we receive regular invites to attend press nights for theatre shows, and we would very much like to develop a pool of Staffordshire based reviewers who have an in depth knowledge of a specific theatre genre, such as Musicals, Dance, Opera, Shakespeare, etc.

Indeed you might be a keen theatregoer, an amateur performer or even a theatre professional.

To get the ball rolling simply email us at stagedoor@staffordshiretheatre.com and tell us what kind of theatre you would be good at reviewing and why, along with an example of a previous theatre review that you have written.  Feel free to add any additional info that you think would be of interest to us.

Note that we reserve the right to refuse to publish submitted reviews.  We do this usually on the grounds of if they could be deemed to be offensive.  We prefer honest, fair and considered reviews.
