Staffordshire’s cabaret sensation Stage Door Johnny loves musical theatre. So much so, that he’s decided to put a show together featuring songs from some of his favourites.  But this cabaret theatre show pays homage to those musical faves with one big difference.

Simultaneously a love letter and hate mail to Broadway and The West End, featuring standards from the world of musical theatre; parodied, sent up and potentially ruined for good!

The production is being staged at The Hub at St Mary’s in Lichfield in March.  St Mary’s iss a superb new venue, convereted form a church, that’s becoming quite the performing arts hub in Staffordshire.

Stage Door Johnny is a Staffordshire legend when it comes to champion cabaret theatre, and is the adored master of ceremomies at the region’s most popular and succesful cabaret night Très Très Cabaret

“I  want the audience to feel like they’ve discovered this exclusive, decadent, secret club that nobody really knows about.  Like a dirty little secret!”

 

He prevoulsy ran Kiss Kiss Bang Bang the popular burlesque show, and regularly fronts and performs at other cabaret theatre events across the region and further afield.
