Andrea Dunbar wrote her semi-autobiographical play when she was just 19. It’s an explosive portrait of girls facing an unpromising future, offered a taste of adult adventure.

Celebrated for its wickedly funny dialogue and startling insight, Rita, Sue and Bob Too became a hit 80s film. Now, a cracking cast reclaim this masterpiece for the stage.

Gemma Dobson, winner of a Stage Debut Award and a UK Theatre Award for her performance of Sue returns to the cast. She will be joined by John Askew playing Bob, Alyce Liburd playing Rita, Susan Mitchell playing Mum, Samantha Robinson playing Michelle and David Walker playing Dad.
